Re: How long does it take for a ticket response?

@proxos666

Finding this forum is a major re-assurance, and I very much thank you for your reply.  Sometimes filing a ticket can feel like a great unknown.  this forum, and your replies, are a credit to EA.

Thanks for the reply and encouragement to hang in there!

matt

EDIT - im aware you do not work for EA so I should have phrased it more like, credit to the SWTOR Community.

    Well I got a ticket reply - no dialogue, just a "no". I must say I am surprised there is no option to fix the account.

    thx again @proxos666 for trying to keep me positive.

    Well waited almost a month and. Finally got some generic reply that told me they Sahil didn't even read my ticket in the first place.  Then they closed it. No chance to reply.  So I call customer service they explained he was wrong to close it, and submit another ticket.

    Their help just keeps passing the buck.  It was not a big ticket either. They just needed to look into the 2 accounts and grant the correct cartel coin.  I know they don't have many people working, but closing tickets and not reading them is just plain lazy.

  • @The7thkey I have now filed two tickets, and gotten two identical replies after 3-4 (business) days each. Both were copy/paste "No" with no details. I would just be guessing as to whether they have terrible customer service or are overloaded. All I know is they cannot help their customers with any topic.

    Hi @strangepork23 ,

    I'm sorry to hear about this, but did you not receive the emails sent to you after creating your ticket and calling us? I can see that they contained instructions on what to do next.

    @EA_Chimere strangepork23, a pre order beta player from 2011, was deleted.

    yes, the emails said nothing would be done and provided 2 links to the EULA and TOS. That is what is known as terrible customer service in the industry, and why early adopters with 10 year old accounts quit.

    Yup and and my wife have had multiple tickets that severely messed up our accounts.  The company they use in India just give copy and paste replys and close tickets.  Sometimes they don't even read them or reply just delete them.

    @strangepork23

    I will make some assumption here on reading this thread, that you have contacted swtor support in regards to you swtor account, swtor then detailed that your EA/Origin account was banned and you needed to discuss this with EA support as swtor support can not do anything in regards to the status of the EA account.

    If as it would appear to be the case here, the EA account is linked to a swtor account then if that EA account is banned , this also affects the swtor account and swtor support are unable to do anything about this.

    Just to be sure, you have tried the process detailed in this link
