You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona ferzhust (not Aezwyn that your posting on now) that EA account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword (insert the swtor email in the link) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
Hello, I have the same issue. I changed the password and tried to make a purchase in Chrome incognito mode and normal mode, but I still get the same error message. What further can be done?
My Account name - Tigatron

Support said you called in and got sorted , glad to hear sorted
Hello, unfortunately, I have also been going through the same issue. However, I contacted customer support and could not resolve the situation after attempting multiple times to reset the EA password and use different browsers. Ultimately I was told a ticket would be submitted for further inquiry for this. Then the person from customer support told me to attempt to purchase the subscription through steam. Still, I have read that buying the subscription through that method was risky as it has proven unreliable in the past and is not eligible for a refund. To conclude, I just wanted to ask if anything else can be done from the swtor site itself to purchase the subscription via those means as I have done before. Thank you. My account name is VIPERAKITA.

Your account has been sent to the studio for investigation
You are correct support have recommended buying through steam , not much more can do from here apart from check status if need again
- @proxos666 Same issue. Change password and still "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved"

- @proxos666 dozanarcoza
- proxos6665 years agoHero+
Support said your account is fine now , try incognito mode on chrome or delete the web browser cache and cookies
- @proxos666 Thank you for the checking but it still not working.

maybe try on your phone browser via the gsm network ? If your ISP does transparent proxying for example it may not update for a day
- @ proxos666 Hello.
Im tryed to use my phone and another browser with / without incognito mode, changed passwords and jumped around with a tambourine like a shaman. And it still not working =\ - proxos6665 years agoHero+
will check again , just to confirm the username is 100% dozanarcoza
- @proxos666 yes, my swtor account name is dozanarcoza

Support say the account is active, now they have also checked subscribing and are also getting the same error you are getting, so they have sent your account to studio for investigation as to the cause.
There is no time frame at this point, for now they recommend if you subscribe through steam it will work ok , one thing is be sure to install via steam and load a character fully before trying to subscribe
this is to ensure the swtor and steam accounts are linked correctly
Hello, so I just wanted to ask again. How common or uncommon is this problem? Because, aside from not being able to subscribe, I can't purchase cartel coins either.
The account name was VIPERAKITA. Thanks.
So are you having the same situation as well, where aside from not being able to subscribe, you can't purchase CM coins? I can't seem to find anyone with this problem while playing, and it's quite frustrating and odd.
- proxos6665 years agoHero+
not common at all for issue you have, have you tried purchasing coins and sub through steam ? whilst your account is at studio being investigated.
as mentioned in https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/There-is-an-issue-with-your-Electronic-Arts-account-CANT/m-p/10307839#M74156
Support said purchasing via steam for both subscription and coins should work (as long as the steam and swtor accounts are linked correctly by logging in fully on a character with steam first before purchasing).
Hey proxos666, never mind. It finally worked, I bought the subscription through Steam, and now I'm subscribed again. I guess I was just over-cautious that I had heard from multiple people that the Steam version of subscribing was unreliable and non-refundable. Yet I got tired of waiting and just decided to go for it; I guess that little risk paid off; thanks anyway for initially responding.
Hello. I have the same problem, changing password doesn't work. My swtor name: Ziomuslaw
- proxos6665 years agoHero+
You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona ziomuslaw (not Valkorian97 that your posting on) that EA account uses a different email to swtor and is a onet email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
Hello, same problem here. I bought the subscription from Origin, but I cannot redeem the code on the website ("There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account...").
I already tried resetting the EA password, clearing the cache and cookies, logging in the incognito mode (I use Firefox instead of Chrome, does it matter?).
Account name: katalina_PL
Help would be appreciated!

Your account has been sent to studio for investigation similar to will1906 , there is no time frame at this point
if you link your swtor account to steam (best to login a character fully via steam to ensure link) , a subscription will work through steam
edit - you can email the origin code into support@swtor.com however they may not be able to add the game time from the code until resolved by studio (steam will work for now though)
Same issue here. can't buy subsribtion or coins or enter game time codes
"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved."
tried different browsers, changing password on the swtor account.
came here and tried entering to my ea account, but it says there is no account with this emailSWtor Account name: LizaNameless - Germany
I have an old second SWtor Account (LizaNmless)that is linked to my Origin Account (LizaNameles), i even could buy stuff there.
But the new one isn't linked to anyting. I think the account was created after the change so there was no ea account created.
