Sub through steam not working

I subbed through steam after verifying that everything is linked, active and available to do so. The sub hasn't shown up other than the processing of it. The SWTOR website gives me an error when I had tried to sub through there so not sure what's going on.

My SWTOR account name is Tykari and my EA account name is AyumuCapris

    @ayumucapris 

    using the same emails on the swtor and an ea account does not create the linkage, linkage is created on account creation, both the swtor and linked ea accounts can use different emails and passwords and are managed separately from each other

    account is flagged to be checked for issues, as things like steam will fail to apply gametime if the account is disabled for purchasing

    Response from support should be available in about 8 hrs from now

  • Thanks for the reply. I have ensured my steam account is linked to both my EA and my SWTOR accounts, but I don't see anywhere to link my SWTOR and my EA accounts together. I sent the email from the same email as my SWTOR account, but I did forget to include my SWTOR account name, so if they reply and ask I will be sure to provide it.

    steam linkage to an EA account and a swtor account has no bearing on each other 

    There is no way to change the account linkage between a swtor and an EA account, the linkage is permanent and made on account creation using the email address used ot create the swtor account

    When an account is "not" disabled, you can login on the swtor account and view your purchase history, the ea account email is listed on the right of that page, you may not be able to view this page when the ea account for disabled

  • Nowhere on either my EA or SWTOR accound does it say it's disabled. It only tells me to contact EA support because there is an issue with my EA account which prevents purchases when I try to view purchase history or subscribe. Should I change the email of my SWTOR account then? Would that help fix the issue?

    no, changing email on your swtor account, likely wont change a thing, just wait till have a response on the account issue in about 4hrs time

    when i say disabled, i mean disabled for purchasing

    your Linked EA account has been disabled and its data has been wiped

    use this link  The email used on that EA account is "different" to the email on the swtor account , the email needed however is a live.ca email address

    Support have your email however cant add any gametime until the above is sorted

  • Okay, it has been reset. Thanks. I had totally forgotten that I used to use two EA accounts and had my games moved from one to the other except SWTOR. I have reset the password and the SWTOR site now lets me see my payment history and whatnot. How long will it take for my Steam purchase of game time to show up in the account? I have emailed with screenshots of my purchase and Steam user ID and number.

  • So everything is looking good except the subscription still isn't active. I sent an email to [edit: email address removed] with screenshots showing the purchase and my steam ID and have yet to see any resolution on this. I think due to this issue between Steam and EA I'll likely be purchasing my game time and cartel coins through the SWTOR website instead to save me any hassle in the future, but is there any way to check to see if this has any resolution pending or has even been looked at? Or should I call the customer service hotline?

    i have flagged to recheck the account, response will be in about 8 - 9 hrs when support are online here for the day

    Glad to hear gametime was added 

    if not done so yet, you need to cancel the swtor subscription in your steam account, it can be repurchased when the gametime ends
