I see this happen in my shard occasionally. I'm sure if you check back after a few mins, the team will be back to normal
Possible but seems overly generous. It's a PvP tactic that quite frankly I wouldn't necessarily would want other ppl to know about.
In a lot of the different shards it is more of a community up at the top more than a pvp slaughter fest. A lot of guilds were made of just the tops of their shards. It is a very common thing to do
