4LOM tier 3 impossible even with R9

You will likely need both Zuckuss and 4LOM to complete tiers 3 and above. 

A lot of the recent Era battles have been like this. 

Yet another event where it gets released with the barest minimum of eligible characters available. It’s just annoying at this point

I wrote about this the other day, albeit for a different one of these battles. 

The information should be clear and truthful. If you have no shot of winning even when you qualify to initiate the mission, they should just tell you that. Personally I don't see the point of telling ppl that they're qualified to go when they have a 0% chance of success. It inevitably breeds resentment and ill will. 

We've all accepted that you need multiple r9s to unlock a capital ship or GL. We're grown up enough to understand if the requirement is 2xr7 instead of 1xr7. CG just has to tell us what the actual requirements are. 

This is how you breed an angry fan base. 

Tier 3 is a Gear 12 ROLO and she one shots 4LOM at R7.  Don't give me that "but you need both" rubbish because that's a lazy and lame excuse for not testing your assault battles.  (OR, you're being stingy and silly again by making us use characters that aren't released for events you have us doing.)

What's worse now is, you have a beta testing team and you obviously aren't having them test this stuff.  Seriously, I could understand Tier 5 needing both, but Tier 3?  

It does not mater what they’ve been like in the past.  This is now lazy programming.  Just like the arrest the chancellor, we’ll release Mace Windu AFTER the era has run to minimize the chances players obtain what they need from prize boxes, then pull the event and run Lady Ahsoka Tano  so players forget events like the Tier 1 R 3 max zeta events like Peridia Patrol. 

CG seem to have got one aspect of these era battles right - I love how t1 and t2 have run as the shards rewarded have given a significant leg-up to farming the latest set of marquee releases. 

But setting up the subsequent tiers so they are impossible to complete for even those players who have invested heavily in the newest unit(s) seems backwards. 

The devs should be ensuring those who have invested the most get the most useful rewards. As things stand, people like me who have only taken 4LOM to 5 stars are getting more useful rewards and that isn’t right. 

Issue here is that despite all other era battles requiring multiple characters for higher tiers that for whatever reason you don't get this.

Nonsense, it just shows some of the fan base are stupid. Requirement is correct in that this is what allows you to take part in the battle, it does not in any way whatsoever suggest you can complete said battle.

All previous era battles have been the same, which further underlines OPs ignorance.

Yes, it does matter what they've been like in the past- as that quite clearly makes a precendent.

If you read this before the event disappears - what does the "Important Notes" section on the event screen say for tier 3? 

For Tier 2 it says "It is recommended you have both units at g8 for the best chance of success". T2 is definitely completable with just 4LOM, but I wonder what that section says for T3? If it says "recommended you have both units..." then I guess the information isn't wrong?
