I agree, calling HT to use his basic and cleanse is probably the easiest/best way to get rid his buff immunity. It usually works great at the beginning of the fight.
But once Boba reinforces and starts throwing around ability block, it becomes much harder to call HT to assist and be cleansed.
are you not using eh or something
Does EH cleanse BI?
No, but he applies chaff, which means allies can’t get target locked, which means Boba’s AoE cannot apply Ability Block to anyone other than the main target - which will be HT.
Unless Boba comes in first.
If he comes in first, the worst case scenario is that he ABs both RC and HT. but since both HT and RC’s special would be on cooldown this is hardly a tragedy. Then you reinforce straight after with EH, and you’re attacking their marked RC whilst being immune to TL.
Here’s another. I went first. Got to here, RC didn’t cleanse. I lose.
Edit: 1-3 today when I go second and heal, BTW.
It’s hard to know what chain of events there had been before your screenshot and then after it. Still looks totally winnable to me when you call in EH next move.
I went 4-0 today going second and healing, then 1-0 going first. Yesterday I went 5-0 going second and healing.
There is no way the difference in our records is down to luck. There’s something in the strategy that you must be doing wrong somewhere.
A we’ve been saying, it’s RNG. Right after I took that screenshot I called in EH. EH did a basic. Then my RC died, then my XB. I’m glad these things work out for you, but they just don’t for tons of people, because mirrors are mostly RNG.
Keep telling yourself that. They are not. Yes it is tedious you need to get speeds in right order (something I can never be bothered with elsewhere) and in turn that has stopped me increasing Mando level but if you are willing to do that then winning 90%+ on a bad day is NOT RNG. I reckon I lose 1 or 2 a week, you have to be pretty hopeless at stats to think that is any approximation of a coin flip. - Persimius4 years agoSeasoned Ace

I’m enjoying a much higher success rate than you with lower powered Piett and BAM. You’re doing something wrong that makes you less successful.
Ok, what though? Because this isn't the only conversation I've had about this. In fact, you looked at the screenshot and said "oh you're fine just call in EH." Which I did. And I immediately lost after that."thomssi;c-2349340" wrote:

several ways for their rc to clear mark
with that said i still win at a very high rate too so the people in this thread claiming rng are definitely doing soemthing wrong
Okay, but WHAT are we doing wrong? I already have been calling EH as first RI. Yesterday I tried exclusively healing if I go second. Still losing more than I win. - thomssi19704 years agoSeasoned Veteran

Some people go after XB rather than RC (mostly I don't but it works better for the odd fleet). Even so it should not be a coin flip. Maybe they are doing swarm when they should not."StarSon;c-2349346" wrote:

>>90% win rate is not RNG.
I don't have a >90% win rate. Yesterday was 50%, which isn't uncommon. - Can some moderator split this thread (anti-merge it) into separate ones for the additional fleet slot in kyber and the topic of executor mirror matches? This thread is a complete mess.
- SnuggeSnuggles4 years agoSeasoned Ace90% win rate when playing optimal is still too high rng for a mirror match in a game. In fleet arena it doesn’t matter because you just try again. But in GAC 1 in 10 loss due to rng is too high. Previous ship metas have all been 100% win when you knew the strategy on mirror matches, even when being seriously outgeared. And you didn’t even have to care about the internal speeds of your ships.

They are not mostly RNG for me, as I keep saying.

Keep telling yourself that. They are not. Yes it is tedious you need to get speeds in right order (something I can never be bothered with elsewhere) and in turn that has stopped me increasing Mando level but if you are willing to do that then winning 90%+ on a bad day is NOT RNG. I reckon I lose 1 or 2 a week, you have to be pretty hopeless at stats to think that is any approximation of a coin flip.
Okay, well I did get my speeds right. My XB is 1 faster than my RC, which is what everyone says to do. I still lose to the same fleets doing the same things as I do when I beat those fleets. I'm super glad you and Darjelo's have such good RNG, but not sure how you can really tell me that it's not RNG when it very clearly is.
Hard to tell you what’s wrong in your strategy if you don’t give us details on what you do. A video would help.
The only video I happen to have is one where I did the aoe going second. I will get a couple today. - M0st1yHarm1ess4 years agoSeasoned Ace

Because your RC is the "weak zombie" of fleets. If XB goes before RC, that increases the odds of winning. We've been telling CG that for months now and they haven't done anything about it. Players are purposely keeping their BAM lower level or with lesser mods than Cad Bane to get XB to go first and RC goes after. Those of us who have BAM at R8 either have to put rubbish mods on him or take Cad Bane to R9, which I'm not doing.
They don't want "weak zombie" characters, except with ships or something.
If I understand it correctly, the fundamental of "weak zombie" is that she dies repeatedly to benefit her team. RC getting hit or killed doesn't really benefit any allies. To me it's more like turn order manipulation than "weak zombie". But then we do turn order manipulation by moving mods around all the time, and on toons too. - Persimius4 years agoSeasoned Ace

You went a little too specific. Other poster was just pointing out that to get the right turn order you have to purposefully make RC weaker, which is not how you do turn order manipulation with mods.
