Arena/Fleet Battle Timeout solution
Hey guys, just got out of a tense fleet battle where I timed out right before being able to destroy the last enemy. I was one, maybe two attacks away from victory when the dreaded clock struck zero. Now, I've seen many people online over the years complaining about how short the Arena/Fleet battles are, and how certain teams have such high survivability, it takes the full 5 minutes simply to push through the tank(s). I see a solution that seems glaringly simple to such a common issue without editing animation speeds or the timer itself.
Why not instead of timeouts automatically ending in a draw, give the win to the team with the most surviving members/most HP leftover at the end of the match? That way, even if you time out, it won't just end in a draw, rather you'll be given a win or loss based on your performance/leftover HP.
Nothing more frustrating than finally climbing over a Revan or Phoenix squad, whittling them down to one or two members, then timing out for a draw. It seems like such a simple, almost braindead solution I can't see why nobody hasn't proposed it before, at least from what I've seen online. Just a thought, it seems like a very simple fix to a very common problem.
