This is huge pain for new accounts. There is should be GP threshold that will keep them on Bronzium 5 without moving to Carbonite. This will heal this mode for low GP accounts.
Just means that people will be stuck in Carbonite because of the "bad" match making when some one climbs to B5.
They could add a GP component to matchmaking in Carbonite that tried to match skill rating and GP to help avoid some of this. No gp should not be used in any higher leagues.
