Cantina/Mod farming. CMON MAN

With all the new game modes, TW, TBs that require lots of mods on your characters, it's becoming near impossible to farm mods. So many characters are necessary to farm from cantina for these game modes, as well as characters for upcoming events/hero journeys. You have to really dedicate to one and choose because they require the same type of energy. I think at this point it would be nice to have a seperate energy tank as well as a seperate area to farm mods. Or maybe reduce the energy cost for refreshes on cantina? But any kind of remedy would be nice!?

It’s nothing to do with spenders v non-spenders. Add a different currency/energy for mods and there’s no decision to make—you’re not engaging with the game, you’re just passively tapping. Add a different currency/energy and they may as well just send you a shipment at the end of the day instead with 8-10 mods...

I agree with spend vs. no spend. And would have agreed to your comment prior Tb release. The game is different now. You need all toons. Gear is more available some more toons are more available... mods should be more available.
  • The best solution would be to start adding characters to GW, Arena Shipments, Cantina shipments instead.
  • If they let everyone get everything for free there’s no incentive to spend. Either buy mod packs, or use cantina energy on mods. It’s that simple. That’s why it is the way it’s been.

Better rng on some of the toon shards in cantina would be nice though...
  • Please don't add yet another energy type...all we need is a single tank of energy per day and we should spend it where we like. cantina or other nodes, it really doesn't need to be that complicated.

Same goes with all the currencies, please just have us earn 1 kind of currency and spend it wherever we like. All of these shops are driving me nuts having to scroll through 5 different shops to find the toon I am looking for. It's nonsense.

Exactly. The only reason this is an issue is because they keep adding important characters to Cantina instead of the GW and arena shipments. They are purposely making this a tough decision.
  • And the mod store where do they come up with the amount of crystals needed to buy a mod just ridiculous
  • yep, mods should get their own dedicated energy. @CG_Kozispoon make it a cool green color energy

I would be most in favor of reworking the mod store to have more slots and a rebalance of the rng so closer to 50% of the slots have mods for credits (new slots would follow same rng as current slots). I would much rather save credits to straight up buy good mods than burn through energy trying to get good mods.

Another option would be to cut the refresh time on cantina energy in half.

The mod store absolutely needs to be updated. Mod packs drop 6 good mods for 999 crystals. Mod store has not so good mods for just as much if not crystals. Prices need to be lowered for both crystal cost mods and credit cost mods.
