Yes, Jerec and other characters would be cool to see added. Redeemed Vader is but one of the many they could add into the game and if it's just a simple palette swap (which they already have done with Nightsister Acolyte & Initiate or Tarkin & Piett or Veers & Starck) then it would be easy to implement.

Eh I have no opinion on the redeemed Vader but why are they releasing a dark Rey? Lol. We already have three versions (a GL for one!) and yet we need another Rey?

The only "alternate continuity" should just be Legends. Besides, although sounds cool, Redeemed Vader is just a lazy palette swop .Instead you could add many , many cool characters to SWGOH , with just Legends. I would Kill to see Wraith Squadron added to the game , or Jerec and his followers from Dark Forces 2

We don't need an infinite number of toons. We need the releases to slow down, if anything. And when they're still missing toons from the original movie, making Conquest-level toons out of something completely made up is certainly not needed.

I would love a dark side Luke from Dark Empire. Some of the best SW comics of all time.

As Darth Jar Jar currently only exists officially within the Lego canon, his inclusion in SWGOH is highly unlikely at this stage. If somehow he was introduced into the main canon like R0-GR or Jek-14 have been, then the chances of his inclusion would be higher. Ultimately, it’s up to CG to make that decision like they did with Rey Dark Side Vision.

If there’s a movie or TV character you’d want to see in the game, then make a thread about which one, or if there’s an existing thread for said character then add to that one by posting in it.
Redeemed Vader also is neither fan fiction or imaginary, he’s official.

Many fans tend to describe Legends as non-canonical, and just like Legends Infinities is in an alternate timeline. The Infinites Return of the Jedi comics branch off from where Leia's deal with Jabba whilst under the disguise as Boushh goes wrong.

Characters in Infinities I'd assume are more likely to be considered than anyone from Visions or Lego, but ultimately that's CG's decision just like with adding Dark Side Vision Rey.

Totally agree, EA slugs don't need more rubbish characters to bleed the paying community's pockets but some original content would be appreciated. Like an X-Wing piloted by farmboy Luke and R2... goodness that would have been an obvious one I thought.

Luke piloting an X-Wing with R2 is perhaps the least original idea compared to Redeemed Vader tbh
Luke in his X-Wing has appeared in tons of media whereas Redeemed Vader has only had one appearance and two figures (not counting Lego Rebuild the Galaxy).
