Let me remind you that you also have bonus energy deposits and can obtain G12 mats from TB and TW rewards. I cannot fathom how it’s possibly taking you three months.

Relic mats aren’t that difficult to obtain, at least R1-4 - you don’t need any G12 mats for those, I don’t think.

Because all the characters share the same energy. Let me remind you that you still need to pump up to G13.

I think you and I are playing different games.

2. why stop at the 25 crystal refresh? If you want to be done quicker do the 50 refresh as well. 
3. I don’t understand how someone who is being as meagre with resources as you are can be so short of gear / relics etc. 

As I mentioned above, I leveled Stormtrooper Luke to 7* in three months by upgrading his node for 25 crystals. I only got one or two shards. Leveling the remaining five characters from the 10th Anniversary era will take me another three months per character. Without 7*, you can't get R6 to access the Maul event.

So, it will take a total of 1.5 years to level up all the anniversary characters. Considering that five more eras will be released during that time, there will be too many characters not leveled up to 7*. And without 7*, you can't get R6 or access the event to obtain a character from the previous era.

If I level with energy, it'll take three months. If I spend resources from the raid, I won't be able to level characters with relics. I don't have enough gear to level relics.

Why should it be possible to farm Kleya to 7* in 2 weeks? Why does this need to be addressed? 

I'm a f2p player with almost 4 million, and having played through old marquees and the new eras, I vastly enjoy the new eras over the marquees, because the legendary characters are available to get at 4 stars, which gives us a reason to invest our crystals, and gives us 2 kyber tokens to boot. I feel much less left behind as I did when every marquee and legendary was locked behind a paywall.

You've no idea how easy you newer players have it nowadays

Imperial Remnants all the way! Loving the look of Commander Snowman, can't wait to have him - so much so, in fact, that he is the only marquee ever that I am saving copious amounts of crystals to hopefully take to seven star immediately, as well as relic mats and gear. Of course he's the last marquee to be given, though...

You need to learn that nodes can be refreshed. If you really care about starring something quickly, that is what you need to do.

Second of all, f2p have always had to pick and choose where to put resources. The talk around the new system was about getting more use out of marquees and starting people in the same place, but the reality is, I suspect, that before long f2p are going to have unused marquees sitting in their roster just like before. They will just be sitting at higher gear.

So choose what factions you want to invest in.

G12-13 is fine.
