Guild leaders are far more likely to take action than CG.
I ran into a cheater a month ago (used a hacked apk, with clearly visible cheating (e.g. ending with protection but damaged health on a team that has no protection recovery) - reported it to @CG_LucifersDaddy (both before my battle, after reviewing his history, and after, once I saw what he used).
Simultaneously reported it to his guild leadership, and they booted him within less than a day.
But in 30 days, no action by CG. As of 19 minutes ago, he's still active in the game. (He's found a new guild that acknowledges he is cheating but doesn't care).
