Now you've got me opening my wallet because I really want a Chirp to go with my Palpatine for HAAT Phase 3. But knowing my bad luck and miserable RNG the other 200 shards I need to seven star him will never drop...

Double drops from 7/8 to 7/31 on Ewok nodes, so there is still hope.

"From 7/8 to 7/31 enjoy a chance at a random Ewok location having Double Drops active". Pray to RNGesus that they land on the toon you want to farm.

Why not stick to Teebotine? Teebo doubles for great use with Rancor, AND you'll need to level up one less tank

I used 10$ in the last double drops for chirpa specifically. I got 80 shards in 3 days. So I would buy a crystal pack and go for chirpa that way personally.

I have Teebo and Palp haven't had much luck on HAAT with them.

By my calculations, you would have gotten about 87 shard if you spent the money on 2800 crystals and farmed him with 200 crystal refreshes during double drops, and also gotten more credits. Never mind using 100 crystal refreshes.

Chirpa is on cantina. Easy to get. I got him to 7* months ago and haven't spent a penny.
