CLS event: lowest gear required?

As R2D2 is scheduled to return at the end october CLS might follow soon after. Im building the units needed now. So a question to those that completed the event: what is the lowest gear level needed? As of now most are gear level 8 + 5 pieces (geared to the point they need raid gear). Is that enough? AllI know now is that gear 11 can auto the event.

    CLS won't follow soon after, you can be certain about that. Not after 2 months of his release. They are most likely going to bring the R2 event into the Palpatine/Yoda rotation, that's why he is returning, and well he also has the Resistance tag and as we know EP VIII is coming soon, so that's another reason.

    Thanks for your input and thoughts. The team is getting geared anyway and the subject of this thread is about how geared they need to be to be prepered the day that happens, whenever it may be. So if you have any insight please share that as well.
