Why? Because one guy solo’d it and then got punished for it later?
You can't fight a war of attrition when you are already on the losing side. Poe vainly sacrificed valuable resources for a short term win and his own glory. He should have been grounded and thrown in the brig.
I'll give you that but I still haven't been able to formulate a logical reason for Holdo's "I refuse to tell anyone what the plan is so you can all just run around crapping yourselves until I feel like revealing it" methodology. Other than, y'know, bad writing.
