Not really, Death Trooper relies heavily on debuffs and Biggs' unique can make DT's attacks a bad thing. Empire relies more on team effort, not one or two toons. Empire isn't cheap, they're balanced IMO. If you have Rex and Yoda, Empire is near useless.
Unless you run Zader with a fast TFP. You would need an even faster Rex of Yoda and even then DT strips buffs so neither will last long. Glad they made DT everything that every other faction has for Empire. Deathmark is a nice touch and is as OP as Chaze and Wiggs so it has brought balance at last.
A guildie of mine got Yoda up to 282 speed, which can really hurt Empire teams, Death Trooper not as OP as it looks on paper.
Exactly but Yoda's Tenacity just gets stripped by DT's AOE. DT is great but I'm guessing they will make him as exclusive as Chirrut

Haven't tested it yet but if it works like B2's buff strip it will still work whether they have foresight or not. It's to do with the description of that it doesn't depend on damage to remove buffs
I tested it in multiple GW nodes, it doesn't strip buffs if the enemy has foresight.

It should be because it says All Buffs which includes Foresight and any other buffs they have. It should strip everything

Yes, Palpatine gives bonus TM everytime a debuff is inflicted which is just as good as Zader IMO. Zader has those debuffs never disappear though, but bonus TM I found to be alot more useful. I know this will make Deathtrooper EXTREMELY good in P3 of the AAT.

He doesn't gain loads of tm like EP and TFP, and if you're including DT instead of a tank to go along with those 2 and Vader/Chirpa lead, then he's rarely going to get a turn anyways. He might be good if you don't run Chirpatine or zVader, but he'll be a waste of space if you do. That is, of course, if you find it worthwhile to mortgage your house to get them to 7*.
I don't run Chirpa as TFP does much better for me. I'm not planning on 7* them because I'm not rich lol, it was just a thought. But since under a Palp lead, he'll keep taking turns as demonstrated in the video.

He only got TM like that in the video because of the IG88 lead + EP lead. 88 lead applies a dot on crit, so every attack DT appled stun + dot = 40% TM.
That won't happen in AAT because the boss can't be dazed, DT won't get double attacks against a non-Rebel, and you won't have both EP and 88 as leaders.
