Delta Relics, 7 Better ways of Power scaling!

So many players on the forums have been providing their Input into why not do the 95% Reduction from a R4 o r R5 to an R9. Yes I agree there should be some stat differences, yet there are better ways in doing it. My post will focus more on (In my Opinion) better ways than Relic Delta. This way players can grow their rosters in newer ways. Plus Still some problems are going to arise with Relic Deltas and those are the many attempts the Community has requested GAC/TW matchmaking fixes, and Sandbox mode. We needs to test all these Complex characters. More players testing will find more bugs to be fixed and Kits to be refined. In my opinion 4 is different and unique but still a better option than relic delta.

  1. Add Relic 10. In Relic 10 it could be very similar to Gear 12+ piece where it actually is custom to the character. So if a character is needing an extra 20% more mastery than another that's fine. If that character needs more Tenacity, Potency, Accuracy, Defense, Critical Avoidance, etc. this is where you can add it. A newer stepping stone for characters. GL's could gain a bit more since they have that Raid level of character feel, that you guys have posted about in the past. Plus a Mini Rework to a Many characters that people have been wanting. Then you can continue onward above Relic 10 or something Slightly Higher.
  2. Level 90 to 100 could be a minor thing. And only allowed for characters above Relic 3 as an option. So many players of the game can access this power.
  3. Mods#1.   7 Dot "E" Mods. This is an area that players can start growing into, to getting to the final level of mods. Yes over time you can grow them from E to A, or White to Gold. Still a way to progress and improve rosters and characters. 
  4. Mods#2.   Adding a 7th Booster Mod slot. The booster Mods can use any Mod in the player inventory and will only pull stats from the Primary and Secondary stats, not Set stats. In my opinion this will help with not just stat boosts with characters but also the growing issue of Mod Storage. Yes I know you guys don't want to upgrade it. My guess is cause of screwing with players loosing mods with bugs and what not, and that's fine. I don't want to loose my worked on Mods of over the years. But again allowing players to use their built up arrows or Crosses, Triangles Etc. Some players will be able to boost survivability with Either Defense or Health/Protection stats. Extra Crit Avoid, Tenacity, or Potency, done. So many characters will end up getting Speed, yet I will be using other stats to improve my roster to make them better than before if this is implemented instead of Relic Delta. 
  5. Mods#3.   Adding some new stats in some unique ways would help give players more of a choice as well as improve their characters. Maybe come up with new counters than before. The stats I am thinking of are Counter chance, Counter Damage, Accuracy(Secondary's only), and Health Steal. Yes some could be a set bonus like the Countering ones, yet others would be fixed Primaries or Secondary's. Like Health Steal, some will complain its to much, yet Datacrons Can give players massive amounts in the 200%+ amounts. So a Fixed amount like a actual set amount. Or the arrow for example could have the Counter Chance. Like having a Fixed amount be (5Dot being 35% Counter, 6Dot being 40% Counter, and 7Dot being 50%Counter chance.) I can see this helping some players having some choice on how they run their characters. Health Steal in secondary's between 6 mods would go no more than 20 or 25% max if players roll high.
  6. Reworks and Touch Ups to many kits could help balance the game more. Not just having Seasonal buffs to certain characters. Always will be talked about by the community. 
  7. Choice ability adds. So back in the day there was a plan on adding Abilities to certain characters after they reach certain levels of Relic. This is a great time to do that again. Yet each ability added to that character will have 1 of 3 choices. And it'll cost to reset them. Yet having some options are better for the community and the giving the Players a Choice on how they want to run their roster of characters. This could also be added to ships to spice them up as well.

  • How about just add 20 additional mastery to relic 9 toons.  That would solve it all.  Instead of going to 70, R9 gets 90 mastery.

    I can see this yes, or add it to R10. I would rather see progression this way instead of or even the Relic level abilities to characters. But yes, as long as the Community comes together, we should be able to change this. We got some change, probably on their level. But we really need a change on our level. This is ridiculous.
