CG is never going to do anything about the GL count. Let's say I started a new account, whaled on it hard and were immediately not allowed to play vs the accounts I whaled to beat. Pay 2 'win' is called pay 2 'win' for a reason.

This is not a thing. Or to be more precise............it maybe a thing, but it's not a thing that works at any level. If you want the best rewards, you need to try and win every match up. Even if you're heading for a loss, it's worth competing to get the credits.
Speaking of.....checking your profile there are a lot of matches you just binned, Harry!
I think my one take-away from this is the wide variety of accounts playing in Carbonite. There are players with large accounts that are getting owned by players like CheeseEmporer0. There are players with large accounts that are happy to play for a win, if they think they will win.
I am seeing (to a degree) a lot of lower leagues not really being played within the 'spirit' of what GAC should be. I'll never agree with GP being the answer though.
I think a few things that may need to be looked at are:
There's a beginners pool that is sacred and can't have players drop into it.
Is there an issue with placements now? The original GP placement numbers would be totally out of sync with current GP figures.
