Don't buy lightspeed packs if you already have the chars at R5

All Units will be granted at 7 Stars, level 85, and Ability Tier 7:
7-stars (will not award 330 shards)
No impact to units already at 7-stars
Units with more than 330 shards but not promoted yet are promoted to 7-stars with extra shards turned into SSC

Those characters will be set to Relic 5 and you will not receive any gear or relic materials directly. Both Ships and Characters will have all their Abilities set to Tier 7. This will have no impact on units already at or above Ability Level 7.

Yeah ... I saw the forum post AFTER I bought the pack in game .... so I know ... my mistake.

But as a QOL-thing it would have been nice if the pack actually showed what you'ld get ... and that the pack didn't show up if you already had everything in there. Some people may have some of the toons all the way to R5 and some of the others not geared very far.

Well to be fair, that was how the hyper drive bundle worked originally - and apart from the before mentioned line of text which I should have seen, there is also a reference to the hyper drive bundle and a notion that the light speed packed "worked in a similar" way - so yeah, I expected to get something for my $10 instead of a massive middle finger.

Still doesn't tell you exactly what you get ... it describes what you're getting, but you still have to go through every single toon and see if you get anything out of that exact toon. I shouldn't be to much of an effort to simply show which toons gets upgraded and which doesn't.

Your Bossk will still be intact and unchanged. It only affects characters lower than R5 and skills lower than level 7. If your characters have more than 330 shards but have not yet activated them, they will be activated, the excess shards (greater than 330) will be transferred. to SSC, if your character is not activated and has less than 330 shards, nothing will be refunded other than the character activated at R5

That means you previously purchased the HBD package and received a refund for the Relic gear and materials ?

Still curious how to "earn raddus shards today". I bought the packs and cannot find where to earn raddus shards today.

HDB works like light speed bundle. It upgrades your toons to the stated star, gear and toon levels.
HDB also did include a boatload of gear and different mats as well as a bunch of special quests that gave out things, but for the toons themselves it’s same as light speed, you get nothing to compensate for toons already at or above the pack levels.
