Double Drops 101
I keep seeing what are double drops, and when do they end?
Double Drops are double reward items in the area that they set it up in. This time it is Cantina.
It is temporary and in this case they are running this one for Cantina from December 15th-20th

Does it give double amounts in store?
No. However you earn double rewards and thus you earn double the amount too be spent in the store. This can be problematic in a good way if your going for one character, but you can refresh the store for cystals or wait for the game too refresh. Your choice.
Does it increase the drop rate?
No. But when you get drops it may seem that way as your earn double the rewards.
Is it a good idea too go big on crystals spent on extra energy?
That is up too you as an individual and your ability too purchase more. I personally use what I am given daily, and in the case of Cantina when I have the crystals I will resfresh 2 times at 100 crystals per. Not that you can't go into the 200 range, but it will not increase your odds, and it will cost you more than necessary for rewards. That being said, that I will if I am really close on a character, it is the last day, and I have the crystals. Sure why not.
Does it stay at 200 after you refresh twice?
Yes. Only until your game refreshes every 24 hrs (usually at midnight), and then you can again spend what you have, and do 2 more purchases at 100 crystals.
Do they offer double drops often?
No. So take full advantage when you get the chance. They usually do 1 area about every 1.5 months, and multiple every 3-4 months. Although they could do one at any time so always pay attention to your news letter pop ups.
Usually it is also listed in game. Go click INBOX left hand side main page. Then click on NEWSLETTER at bottom center.
