I feel bad because I only post when I have a complaint, and never do when CG does good things. CG, I've been playing since release and this game is pretty sweet and I love 90% of it.But FFS tournaments make me want to blow my head clean off. Sucking on a lit M-80 sounds more appealing than doing one more tournament. It's a waste of time and most players will never be able to unlock these characters or raise them to a substantial level/number of stars. But... out of a stinking feeling of obligation and feeling like I'm missing out... I'll do these horrific upcoming tournaments.Ugh.But ships are cool...

Based on the up coming tournament schedule, no one in charge is listening. It appears the tournaments are a good revenue stream somehow. Otherwise they would not be running them. I hate them and refuse to spend anymore ally points on them. But I don't see an end coming. Apparently customer feedback is a thing of the past.

Though it's probably because tournaments also slow down the progress of the game. If you notice, it's been forever since a character was added somewhere other than a cantina node (besides Windu).

Tournaments are a horrible addition to this game. Now you are legitimately punished if you happen to not be able to play for a few the day or even the last few hours of the tournament. It's one thing to miss out on some crystals because you miss arena payout time, but another to miss getting a character because of it.

I do wonder how they make money off tourneys rather than Aurodiums and chromiums.

Or maybe they just want to keep the whales satisfied for now

Tourneys are horrible. It's just a revenue stream for them, and the brackets are horrible. As soon as I hit 80 or 81 I was lumped in with level 85s and gear that was 45 to 50k on average. I was only 38k... This was the most recent tourney. I did 1 battle and then was like nope, not wasting my time. Had to refresh many times over till I found someone I was satisfied with in fighting...

Maybe, if the tourneys were better designed then I would enjoy them.

The only reason to do them really is the gear and credits. But it's not an enjoyable way to get them. I find it very painful
