Droids VS Meta team.

No way! Poe is the best tank for droids. The reason this is, is because Poe exposes, leaving IG-88 for sick aoe's.

Until you come up against a speed dps team and they kill 88 before Poe gets to go. RG is better at preventing that, but it can still happen.

I love my droids, was glad to be able to use them again. But, they are beatable and still are bad on defense. The video posted was an all offensive droid/geo team, of course they will wreck on offense. But, they will get destroyed on defense against a speed meta team.

I have dusted my droids off and used them in arena and they do great on offense, but can't hold a spot, and do not do well vs certain dps teams. Today I went back to Dooku/Daka/RG/GS and I'm doing just as good on offense and holding spots a little better.

This update has opened the meta allowing for more diverse team comps. Seeing a lot of different characters on my leaderboard now. I feel that it is a good change. Droids are not OP, they are good but beatable just like almost every other team out there. When we get to lvl 80 and Max abilities my opinion on that may change.

This deserves to be a meme... "Says game has more diversity now | Goes back to his meta team to prevent getting beaten" So much for diversity...
You had to replace your droid team for RG team because, it's not enough to win 100% of the games, but other people must lose all of theirs vs your team? Seriously...there is nothing else i can write here, that won't get edited by mods...

The point is that the leaderboards are more diverse. I can win with my droid team, but my old meta team is still better. My old meta team is still beatable though, even by droids. That is a good thing, IMO. Where did I say "other people must lose all of theirs vs my team". I didn't. I said the game is more diverse and now FTP have a good option to be competitive. Of course I will put in the team I feel is most effective, who wouldn't?

As for the mob enforcer comment, I have no clue what you are even trying to convey with that and don't see the need for any personal insults.

This is getting better and better....Do you know why something as silly as GQJ leader (without any jedi in team) came to play? Because droids were OP as F. The only way to counter them was to kill ig88 before poggle/poe turn comes. This is the sole reason of why GQJ meta was born. Non wake up and said "Today i ll farm GQJ, just to put him as leader on my non jedi team, lol"
Then Yoda event arrived and since yoda speed was also high, being a jedi helped GQJ ensure 1 hero kill before enemy team can play. And because of that, we got the Dooku led teams, to counter GQJ meta, that was created because of the OP droids.

Do you ever played any non meta team??

Lol? GS was the first hero i farmed and he still rots at 60lvl and gear VIII. I had to leave him because everyone farmed him and i wanted to try more combinations. Also the first Sith i farmed was Dooku, which i used him and still use him as leader, but i also aknowledge that his leadership needs a nerf. 15/20 teams using him is a strong indication. Not everyone acts like you. (Farm only the top tier toons and then tries to find excuses in order to defend them from being nerfed) I belong to the portion of people that actually care about the game. That care about the 80% of unused toons. I want real diversity in this game and i actually TRY for it. I belong to the 4 people in my shard in top 20, that used different squads than the meta ones, because they are sick with using the same heroes over and over just to get easy wins. Again, don't imply that everyone acts like you, because this is what i take as insult.

GS was also the first toon I farmed to 7* and I still use him. No where have I ever said I don't want the 80% of unused toons to be unusable. I would love for the meta to open up more to allow those toons to be used, but how does nerfing droids make that possible? So they nerf droids and we go back to speed/dps only, how does that help?

I have slow toons that I spent time and resources farming up and are still unused, but that doesn't mean you need to nerf the viable toons. Maybe those slow toons still need some work.

I play to win, you may play different. I hated the speed/dps meta, but I changed my team and farmed up who I needed to be successful. If you didn't, hey that's your choice. But, don't come calling for nerfs for every "op" team that you can't beat because you didn't keep up. I evolve to the state of the game, you seem to want the game to evolve to suit you.

Well then don't nerf droids. If droids are fine, buff other heroes to crit 8k+ like them. They are balanced after all, right? I would gladly settle down for this. And i won't call for nerfs anymore.
