So I've noticed that First Order Officer's ability "Marching Orders" when maxed is a far better cleansing ability than Thrawn's "Grand Admiral's Command" who is supposed to be the CLEANSER for the Empire! I mean what gives? "Marching Orders" not only gives 100% TM and dispels all debuffs from FO Officer and target ally but it also grants Advantage, Offense Up and Tenacity Up! Way to go devs! FOO gives 100% TM, Thrawn swaps TM. So if the toon he swaps with is already at 95% then Thrawn is going again anyways. Plus cleanses and restores 40% protection for himself and the target. I run Thrawn, FOO, and Jyn in Rancor and they play like - You go! - No, you go! - Okay fine I'll go but then you go! - How about we all go!

They're both good, kind of apples and oranges because there are different benefits to each. I run them together in my arena team and they're a great pair. Both fast.

Thrawn's ability: Thrawn => some TM, cleanse, 40% Protection / Target ally => 100% TM, cleanse, 40% Protection

vs

FOO's ability: FOO => cleanse, Tenacity Up / Target ally => 100% TM, cleanse, Tenacity Up, Advantage, Offense Up

The thing is the target ally benefits a lot more from FOO's ability than Thrawn's because the 3 buffs he gains outweight the 40% Protection bonus! That's why I've proposed a little tweak to Thrawn's ability as he is a Support and is the only cleanser for the Empire, but is not as effective at cleansing as GK, Chirrut etc.

It is always nice for devs to buff a character that you already have but this will not happen for thrawn. The justification is just not there as he is not a weak character by any means.

Look, I'm not saying he is a weak character, but he is simply not that effective in the role he is inteded to fulfill - cleansing! Just compare his ability to that of Chirrut, GK or Rex and you'll understand!

I think you could be on your own on this one. Thrawn is a much better character all round I’d rather take the bonus protection and gain the targeted characters original TM over those 3 buffs anyway.
