GAC matchmaking

1) This matchmaking is set up for crystal distribution not competition, you can either accept that or stew about it but you cannot change it
2) By 7m GP you should have at least 2-3 GLs

I was focused on conquest I went for a relic 8 gas, relic 8 Vader, and Jedi Luke all before they NERFED all 3, sure I could have gone for gls but I was given no notice that the characters I spent months working on would get nerfed. And they removed one single relic level, that fixed nothing. So yea, argument 2. Completely invalid. For 1, this is a game, it was fun, gac was fun. I was undefeated for around 6 months with many many close matches, that kept me playing. I researched each opponent’s gac history before I went against them. I’m putting my comments here because it can effect change, it can help the developers understand why it’s getting past up by games in profits, explain why less people are playing. Less of a point playing a game when it’s no longer fun.

If you want to be focused on conquest, then the best way to do that is to get some GLs.

Not when they are pushing your resources towards other things like inquisitors. I’ve gotten everything single conquest max crate except for one of the maul ones, and the last 3 forced me to shift my focus from gl to inquisitors.

Inquisitors are a resource sink that will take forever to recoup. I'd get all six GLs and SK before getting them.

He always does his attacks but removes his defense, I’m guessing he’s staying around this skill level for practice. The last gac he removed everything but mace windu on ships and his opponents got 2000 points with only doing 1 single attack. The pattern continues when you look back in his gac history.

If you’re always chasing the newest thing as FTP, you’re always going to be behind. The Inquisitors is an example of this. Not only do they take forever to farm, they end up being just a lackluster team with TW focused omicrons.

It’s best to get at least 1-2 GLs at your GP level if you ever hope to compete. Also, R8 GAS is a GL requirement so it’s not a complete loss to have upgraded him to that level

I have to say this has been a serious problem for me. I'm a relatively new lvl 85. I have started a bit before the Mandalorian characters marquee events happened. Then I took a year and a half off. I've gotten back into it since an 2 months ago. I've only done a handful of grand arenas, however I've only won 2 hands. Why? Because my closest matchup has been someone with over 1 million gp more who made one attempt at one of my squads, who surprisingly beat him, and then he did nothing else. Their past behavior that has dropped them down to my Carbonite levels is not an indication that they won't destroy me effortlessly and reap the rewards of people like me. I won't say I'm good nor have a good roster. But you could give me a gl for free and I wouldn't stand a chance against a single one of the matchups I've had unless they don't play. And guess what, the argument everyone makes a these people not playing and all that....they do play when they drop down to Carbonite.

My 1 mil account in Carbonite 4 has a 6 mil account in its 8 player bracket with high relic GAS revans, malak, etc.

Exactly, I have 0 relic characters and I've gone against rosters with at least enough to have every squad in GA with every character reliced. I could be the most skilled player possibly in SWGOH and still wouldn't stand a chance. My best squad can't kill a relic level 3 KRU, when he's solo. There's not a strategy out there that would allow me to do well in ga.
