Dear EA,could you please do something about the galactic war opponent selection to let me fight people that spent less than 1000 dollars on the game? It is getting pretty boring/annoying, I have to fight my way through compulsive shoppers every day and they surely have some 1 million galactic power more than me. I'm sure that if I would spend 1000 on the game I would meet only people who spent 5000 and so on. EA, could you please not? Hire another marketing manager to better handle the "forcing you to shop" side of the game please, the things you recently did to call for money are pretty low (cpt. Han solo, the tb in general and so on).

GW is an ever changing challenge, everyday is different. I love it. I started playing a couple of days before New Year, now I started beating GW 5/7 days and all was right in my world. Then all of a sudden I couldn't beat it. I was only winning 1/7 so I beefed up my supporting teams and started to be a bit more tactical. Back up to 5/7. Then I started regularly coming up against Chaze and Thrawn and etc and started to struggle. So I started preloading squads for the first 5 battles. Up to 6/7. Now G12 has come along and this time I'm ahead of it, because I just dropped a Zeta on Finn.My point is GW is an adaptive part of the game. If you keep doing the same stuff, you can expect to get progressively worse results...

No you don't have to play Resistance. Resistance is the best Team to finish GW consistently but it's not the only way out. You can also build a Phoenix team you'll use to go through most of the nodes while you'll keep your killer teams for node 11 and 12. Before my Resistance team, I used to send two killer teams on nodes 1 and 2 so they build turn meter, then Phoenix squad on nodes 3 to 10 and, finally, my killer teams back on nodes 11 and 12 with a TM advantage. Not as consistent as the Resistance but it still worked pretty great for me. But that was before G12 and CLS...

The people who are saying it hasn't changed either have not been playing long or very lucky.Since the last update it's become increasingly difficult the last 2 to 3 nodes are very hard. And final node is all gear 12 with most with Zeta's, how the hell can you compete with that without spending hundreds of dollars? There is no way a F2P player can already have a full team all gear 12. I have played this game since launch and I love it, but I have noticed players quitting as they can't keep up with the whales. It should be based off each players lists that way all can have a decent chance of completing it. It doesn't affect me I just throw more teams at it, I just feel for the players that haven't got deep benches.

But if you're rank 50 in your shard, give or take - it does not make any sense to face squads that are most likely top 5 shard. They do need to revamp GW because it's getting out of hand. The only people who say it's based off arena are people who have no idea what they're talking about.

Its supposed to be hard. The people who built the teams you're facing invest either time or money just like you.

don't make it about money. It's irrelevant whether the players you face spend or not, it's the teams you're facing that are important.

Well, how can I put that. I'm not complaining about people spending money. There's people which spend whole salaries every month in the game, so whatever, I will not because I have a life and more important thing to pay. Not so much of a problem. The problem occurs when the game forces you to deal with very high grade shoppers to proceed in the game, thing that you cannot do while being a ftp unless you played since day 1. That's what I'm pointing out: the pay to play philosophy is clearly beginning to get implemented.

Galactic Power has nothing to do with Galactic War (despite the name). GW still scales to the old power rating. (Which is listed as Stat Power found on each individual character in your swgoh.gg profile.)

i'm completely f2p and i don't have that problem. Only faced a full g12 team once in GW.
