GL Hondo, is this a joke??

Rey scavenger is actually getting a lvl9 datacron bonus in the next datacron set. "She deals 25% more damage for every relic level on all allies." This is definitely gonna make her a nuke for the GL rey team or whatever. At least she is more useful than ugnauts. For the relic 9s though, CG is obviously making GLs more and more expensive to farm, though their costs do not always align with their strength, as is the case with Ahsoka. It 's just a way to force people to spend money because these are requirements for a GL, not casual farms.

I like Hondo- I just wish they had dug a little deeper to give us some more pirates from legends or comics or tv - instead of chewbacca. 

I totally agree from a lore perspective, but from a gameplay perspective, the requirements do make sense. Rey is a requirement at R7 for GL Rey, and GAS is a requirement for both GLAT and LV at R9. They did this to give players a break from building up more expensive characters, even if they don’t make too much sense.

Sure I’ll definitely agree that if you’ve already invested in some of the other GL’s then this is not the worst news in the world. (And a minor correction to your post, but GAS is a req at R8 for both of them not R9.) However, if CG were really interested in giving players a break would they not just do away with the R9 reqs for everyone except Hondo? Like it’s bad enough that the reqs consist of a bunch of marquees that cost a bunch of kyrotechs and potentially even a conquest unit in the form of Maz Kanata, but you also have to R9 some of these requirements? Also giving players a break and making the reqs lore friendly are not mutually exclusive, you can easily do both. I think characters like GK or Aurra Sing at mid to high relics would not only make sense in Hondo’s lore but also be seen as a break from the player base as GK is typically R8 for JMK and many people already have Aurra Sing at relics for the bounty hunter team. So I’m not going to pat CG on the back for doing one when they really should be doing both. 

Tbh we already have 2 order 66/ep3 gl toons (lord vader and jm kenobi)  and gm yoda, Palpatine,  and the new windu as journey characters..  + gg as a toon that isn't farmable (gotta buy him with fleet tokens) and if they made a new ep3 gl people would whine about that,  and by the time that one becomes fully farmable the anniversary would be over..

But they fkd up more with the dark clones, appo is good but they should have put others that where shown in ep3 like bacara, bly, neo etc..   And just have given use delta squad instead of 1 dark commando .    Also where is the clone pilot as a unit with the laat ship or a Vwing, and a cis droid pilot with a tri fighter or droid gunship (even tho the the droid ships dont require pilots)
