Guild Leadership Transfer

You have to make the person you want to be the new leader an officer.

Then when you leave the guild you will be given an option to transfer it to them.

If you are not stopping playing, they can invite you back in.

Thanks for the response @Kyno. You're sure ablut this though, right? I don't want my guild to end up as a leaderless group of players :)

Only you will lose all previous obtained (guild)statistics like donations send, raid point collected and other stuff you can find in the management screen.

You can wait for another response to verify.

I was not given leadership but we had our guild leader leave and transfer to another officer recently. So I am pretty sure this was how they did it, the EA ticket method I believe is for when you guild leader goes dark.

Yep, Kyno is right.
Guild leader has to choose to leave (NOT disband) the guild. He'll then have the option to transfer leadership.
