How is TW max defensive squad number calculated?

Videos about the beta stated 16 per zone. I could have sworn our last TW was 21 squads per zone. Today it's 13 max. We did drop from 25mil to under 25 mil active participants. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • As far as I can tell, they take the guild with the lowest number of participants and halve it. So, if you have 50 and they have 48, there will be 24 squads needed per territory. If they have 44 and you have 41, there will be 21. (They seem to round up.)

  • From what Ive noticed it's half of the members who have registered. So you'll have 26 entered meaning 13.

    We think that it is based on the guild with the lowest number of participating member. So 13 max mean you are actually facing a guild that have 26 participating members with a total GP similar to your 40-50 members. Matchmaking still match by total GP not by total member number. They have to fix the total number of defensive squad to the lowest with exact number for both guild because you actually get banners for deploying a defense squad
  • It's half the number of people who registered.

    It also seems to be based off the guild with the lower number if you're matched to a guild with a different number of registered players.
