How often should i farm mods?

Get some good mods for your top squad and then don't worry about them as much. I normally used my credits to buy good mods in the mod shop when they were available. IMO it was a good investment

Once you get your main Arena squad and or rancor/aat squad, then go for mods to maximize them.

Prepare for lots of frustration and anguish. Mod farming is the worst. You can farm for months and get only a few decent mods.

I just bought a mod pack from the data card store and got 4, 5* tier A mods. Only one of them had a speed secondary but it would of taken me 2 months to pull that many tier A mods if I tried to farm them.

I tend to get a Cantina character to 7 stars, then farm mods for a week straight.

Right now I'm fishing for a specific mod (triangle, any primary--going on a pilot I won't use outside ships.) so I'm just dumping energy until it shows up--then back to a character.
