I never tried, I am thinking he did and didn't get a response so that is probably the more reliable answer.

Several folks I know, myself included, put our names in, if they decide to pick us we will be notified , otherwise, we won’t hear anything.

Mainly because I image that there are tens of thousands, Mebbe 100s , off folks that would like to try it as well. Think of it like a hiring process, if your picked to interview your called, if not, you hear nothing
