Humbling Blow Severely Bugged?

And Kylo still counter's after his buff is removed

I Humbled Kylo's Retribution this morning. No counter attack. Only Offense Up!

If this is a lucky streak, I hope everyone gets to have one like this once in a blue moon. My QGJ fears no retribution from anyone, lol. I have been using it literally on anyone, anytime, and picking on Yoda was simply the icing on the cake. His team was full, 5 men up. And I picked on Yoda, even though Tenacity Up was his only buff. At this point, there was no try, only do. (I.e., I was suspecting bug by this point).

I've had one instance where humbling blow gave offence up on a buffless GS. Was quite odd.

I know for sure GGJ HB does not connect all the time, I've gotten HB resisted numerous times after the update.

Quick, before they fix it, try using it on a killing blow. Then after that see if you have god mode. Maybe I'm wrong, but I am not exaggerating. I would have to be extremely lucky to pull this many procs in a row. And against Yoda with Tenacity Up?

They apparently changed SOMETHING about Humbling Blow on a kill shot, per the patch note. And it is OBVIOUSLY not what they were trying to fix, because that is still broken.

It can miss it just can't be resisted anymore.

Am I understanding this correctly? Does target tenacity not matter, anymore? Now the only way to stop Humbling Blow is to evade the attack, entirely? Working as intended?

I personally don't see this as a problem, I run a Qui-Gon lead full Jedi team and Humbling Blow is the bomb diggity.

Well, I wouldn't complain, either. But my gut says this might be a bug that will obviously be caught when they realize the fix doesn't work. So perhaps try this out and enjoy it while it lasts.

And I read the patch note and specifically setup a killing blow first chance I got, in my first match, each of the two days after reading the note, wondering when the fix would kick in. Instead I got really lucky or I found a god mode bug.

Both times I tried the killing blow, it was on a buffed low tenacity toon. So I dunno, but I think in each instance there was a good chance for HB to normally land. No proc. But then I didn't have any HBs resisted after that for the rest of the day. I got off one or two Offense Up in every single match after that, without fail. On anyone.

I figured maybe a stealth buff. Or luck. I wouldn't have posted if I didn't finally do it on Yoda with Ten Up. My QGJ is only level 60-something, gear 8, BTW. I mean, I wouldn't have tried to do it on a toon with Foresight in an Arena match, if I didn't smell something funny!

I also haven't run QGJ in lead since the protection kicked in, in case that matters.

BTW, I murdered the Yoda team. That happened on the first turn, I think, and the dominoes fell right quick after that. I left Yoda for last. He managed to down my RG on his last attack, but for a moment it was just Yoda against my 5 toons. That was cool to see.

Since I figured this was happening to everyone else, it actually prompted me to experiment with putting Lumi back on my team. Previously, I figured she was just Humbling Blow bait. But at this point, I felt like HB is going to work on anyone!

I hope Dev can confirm whether it's a bug or not.

1. Killing enemy using Humbling Bow will NOT grant you Offense Up even after this update, I tried many times, never works. This is obviously a bug that hasn't been fixed. Please fix it.
2. Humbling Bow can dispel almost everything now - Yoda's Tenacity Up, Chewie's Defense Up. Before the update, Yoda's Tenacity Up could not be dispel by anyone, now both QGJ and Windu were able to do it. Please clarify whether this is a intentional change or a bug?

HB always owned Chewie. Well, at my level. (In GW, anyway. I haven't seen Chewie in arena since I hit around level 50.)

But I have procc'ed off of Defense Up in the last two days, for sure, on another toon. Is it not supposed to?

There are not too many buffs better than Offense Up, in general. So yeah, a lot of these team buffs are just HB bait, anyways. QGJ is on roughly half the teams in my server top 50.

Lots of variables. Maybe just luck. But did you try more than once? Maybe your HB didn't proc on your killshot?

I'm level 69 and these were all rank 20ish fights. So my competiton is all near my level or higher essentially. I'm usually fighting teams at level 68 to at least 71, judging from their toon levels. Most of mine are still 64-68.

I check out the stats often before a fight. In the past I look for tenacity in low 30s or less for my targets. Lumi or droids etc. About GS in the mid 40's started to get fairly low yield/high risk. Past two days over the course of 20 matches, my confidence continued to rise and my playing field gradually opened up to include yoda with tenacity up. So basically anyone with a buff, not in the yellow/red, excluding foresight. Yeah, maybe just luck, but I didn't think it could even work against Tenacity Up. My QGJ has been max gear for my level for probably the last week or two; no change. I had him maxed at the last piece of gear that mattered before 70.

Another 8 matches, and HB has yet to be resisted. Aside from one evade from Lumi, every HB that landed resulted in O up. This included a hit on an enemy RG with 70% tenacity.

Also noticed the other bug today. When enemy QGJ had offense up (from his own HB), I HB'd QGJ and despite team O up buff received, the targeted QGJ Offense Up buff remained intact. So it appears that this failure to dispel O up is not specific to Dooku.
