I’m sick of conquest

Conquest would be much more appealing if it was closer to grand arena. I would love to test my GAC counters in conquest. I would understand if omicrons don’t transfer. I would just enjoy learning more about character mechanics, abilities, and strength/weaknesses. I hate the modifiers. Often times I am waiting 2 minutes to take a turn with a 60% jabba team. It’s nothing like the rest of the game and it’s poorly designed right now.

It sounds like you need to use your resources better, since you've played Conquest in the past (with less issues). Each new Conquest it takes me a while to figure out the best disks that I need in order to survive, or kill everything. Once I do though, it's just rinse and repeat, and hope I get the ones I need. Some teams absolutely demolish you, and then you'll reset your disks, and come back and demolish them. Using your guild's Discord, or some of the other Discord channels for help, looking at the various YT creators for cheese methods, etc. might be a good start. 

the trouble is, I don't have enough time or resources to get decent conquest teams, I used to be able to get very close to the end crate, but now I generally get 3rd crate and 4th if i am lucky not because of the discs, although they play a part, BUT because the feats are so unlike what I am grinding (and lets face it unless you pay to play you cannot grind multiple at once), what happened to the feat for using a LS/DS squad 100 times, having a fully rebel or jedi squad... no its full squad of pirates, or inquisitors, or tuskens or whatever, but 99 times out of 100 its squads I don't have at 7* or if they are they are not relic'd and I am farming the latest GL and need the farm for that... before others question my roster, its 10.3M GP and 4 GL's most of the conquest toons, (not rey or librarian) but thats because i use crystals to get their shards in the conquest store (only crystals I gain in game, I don't buy them) also all legendary toons except GI and Mace.  I also have a real life and cannot spend it searching how to beat conquest.

Frag. I appreciate your response and I understand that there are other resources to hone my conquest skills in. My trouble is similar to68daddycool​. I work 50-60 hours a week at this point in my life. I really don’t have extra time to spend researching conquest teams and data disk combos. I am focused on building my future family. I love Star Wars and it has had a great impact on my childhood. Currently, I can’t spend a lot of my free time on a mobile game and I wish that the developers could cater towards my needs. I capable of spending my limited budget on this game for worthy deals. At this point, I am disappointed because something that was easily attainable for me has become tedious to obtain. This has discouraged me to  participate in events that I have paid for in the past. I just want to obtain the gold crate without feeling like I need to triple refresh my conquest energy everyday.

JML should blast through them, ideally have disks that add buffs and damage based on buffs. In fact with that disk combination most teams will blast through them. SLKR is particularly good here too.

Well the issue here is your roster. The game moves on and its up to you to flesh out your roster. Maybe don't just focus on GLs?

This. First time around its a bit suck it and see, second and third we know what to do. Seems a lot of people are immediatly defeatist before they start when its constantly surprising how the YT guys you mention not only make feats we may have ignored possible, but also done in very few or even a single battle.

You'd have issues in GAC if your Jabba team was at 60% power. We can see the modifiers etc before a battle, and its on us if we send in the wrong team. You say you would enjoy learning about mechanics etc but you seem to ignore conquest ones.

I personally believe the difficulty of conquest is fine, however I find the amount of time conquest takes has gone up significantly. This makes it really unenjoyable for me. Things that require you to play 20 matches to complete with a specific team comp is a but much. 

Conquest has easily turned into a 2-3 hour a day task if you are trying to get a Red Crate with a subpar roster. 

With the trend of conquest characters not being useable until 6 months+ after you get them, I am starting to question is it worth it. I am not talking about in-game "worth" I am talking about the opportunity cost of doing other things vs 2-3 hours a day grinding conquest.
