I just want to say…
I have nothing but the deepest contempt for the players who sit around inactive in GAC the whole day, making me think I have a shot, then the hour before the round ends swoops in and full clears. St...
I used to leave it late. Many will disagree, but I genuinely believe it holds a slight tactical advantage. There are still a couple of tactical situations that I may force myself to still do so. If you have the time and inclination, that's your privilege.
However, what I found was that there would be situations during the day where I wanted to play GAC, but I was leaving it late to (in my mind) gain an advantage. What would happen is that I resented GAC and didn't enjoy playing it as I wasn't in the mood, was tired or really didn't have the time. It's then that you have to remind yourself that it's a game, you should enjoy it.
So now, I play whenever I feel like it (or have the time). Winning meant a little more under the old system, where you could run away with things. However, with the new system when you win you're owed a loss and vice-versa.
It's all fine slapping that large red booty, shouting YEE-HAW; just remember to lower your trousers and bend-over, as you've got a tanning coming. Don't fret the losses, it all evens out and what will be, will be.
