Incredibly Frustrating

Just wondering why the game is so off. Used to be that when you had 4k more power in Arena, it would show in the fight. Especially when fighting the same team. Is the RNG gone crazy? I mean, I guess I am wondering what I am doing wrong.

I used to be competing for the top 5 daily in arena, now I can varely stay below 100 and wondering what changed in arena.

Playing the same team? Just looking now and their Vader has no Zeta, some of the mods on their TFP and Maul is mk2, if it's based on mods, I should have zero problems here. Lost 3 times in a row to this team. I mean, what is it? Rng? Am I doing something wrong here?

Zader lead G11. modded for Tenacity and speed. (all MKV's)
Palpatine G11 modded for critical damage and speed (all MKV's)
Deathtrooper G10 modded for critical damage and speed (all MKV's)
ZMaul G11 modded with health, tenacity and potency (all MKV's)
TFP G11 all speed (all MKV's)


Their Team:
Vader lead modded for tenacity and potency (all MKV's)
TFP modded for potency (2 MKIII's and 3 MKV's)
Palpatine modded for Potency (all MKV's)
Maul modded for Potency (1 MKI and 4 MKV's)
Deathtrooper modded for potency (One MKII, one MKIV and 3 MKV's)

Their TFP is 4 points faster than mine. 183 vs my 179.

I mean, I suppose? That 4 points has me lose now 4 times in a row? See my thread title lol

Yes it has.
Firstly, if your TFP is modded for speed, how is opponent TFP still going before you?
Secondly, if the opponent TFP has modded for Potency and using MK III mods and still going before you, something is really wrong.
Thirdly, their Palpatine is also faster than almost everyone in your team besides TFP and landing his mass stun.
Power rating in Squad Arena is highly skewed towards stats like health and protection. A bit of extra health and protection over your opponent is not going to save you against someone who has same team but faster overall speed than you. Please check and make sure that all your guys have a 30 speed arrow mod as well as other mods with good speed secondaries. And if you don't want your squishy guys like Maul to get mauled and Ability Blocked early on, consider investing in a good Pre-taunt like Shoretrooper.

Yeah, looks like I need to learn to mod. I do have speed arrows on all but Zmaul with this team but their speed out performs mine. I have been using swgoh.gg for modding. In fact, here is my mods - https://swgoh.gg/u/mikepoe72/mods/?stat1=5

Also working on Shore Trooper for that very reason. He is still way low though.
