So I just got Dengar to 7* today and tried him out in raid for the first time. He sticks Tenacity down no problem, however after that my resist rate from Teebo, Rex and QGJ goes UP not down as expected.Am I doing something wrong? My potency on all my TMR guys is pretty high and i know there is always a chance to resist but usually teebo hits at over 75% without tenacity down and he's hitting closer to 50% with it; QGJ when he procs (99% potency) usually hits 70% and he's less than 50% now and Rex with the omega on basic usually hits 85% and he's around 50-60%.This is on the captain guard; does it work better on the Rancor?

Tenacity down from dengar has no effect on turn meter reduction. If you read the description, all it does is make negative status effects easier to apply. So speed down/defense down....etc..

I also experienced what the OP is talking about. It was very disappointing... I dropped Teebo and QGJ's potency by at least 5% each hoping to add a little more damage to make things go quicker and they actually got resisted more. What gives? @Boxandthefuzz Was there an official source on this? It seems like his tenacity down just isn't doing anything.

CapMethod - Yes, Turn Meter Reduction is also affected, as is any other conceivable effect that could be Resisted, even though they are not considered negative status effects, so that part of the phrasing is now inaccurate. Guess we'll have to fix it again. >_<

Something is definitely wrong here, because my toons are also getting their TMR resisted MORE with Tenacity Down applied.

I think this thread belongs in bugs and issues as well.

Tenacity Down: Minimize chance to resist negative status effects.

Directly from the description in the game, sorry, but it is working as intended, according to that statement. Do i agree it should be like that no. Was i pissed off when i found that out, yes.

@Bones it says minimize because there is always a 15% chance to resist... I'm good with that but 15% shouldn't translate to a reality of 50%; somethings wrong.

you can still solo the raid

teebo lead, ewok elder with a lot of speed, phasma with over 200 speed, dengar with with high potency/crit chance, and rex/qgj with high speed and potency

@RonEmpire IDK... it just seems odd; if tenacity down should leave us with a 15% chance to resist, then resists should be pretty rare
