It seems CG misunderstood the players' desire to revive old characters.

Honestly, I just want them to give us new ways to earn portraits, I like everything they've done but the biggest thing for me right now is a ways to earn portraits, especially old ones. And then as the years go on give us ways to earn more current portraits. That are  much older later on

Well, you did use "we" and "us" in your post, and some don't want to be spoken for. I find this a non-issue, really. Some new toons I get excited for  - even revived old characters - and some I don't... just like always. 

I'm not against discussing this topic. I'm not against arguing if I see serious arguments and valid criticism. But responding to comments like these that don't convey any meaningful meaning and don't further the topic is simply an attempt to humiliate someone. What's the point? Maybe you have more meaningful suggestions? Or will you descend to the level of "I disagree because I'm gladiolus?"

When someone doesn't offer any serious arguments but simply disagrees and argues for the sake of arguing, I don't see any point. And there's no point in engaging in dialogue with such a person.

I can understand a player wanting the squads (can't bring myself to use the p word) they geared up years ago to be returned to relevance, but I can't understand anyone thinking CG will do this without also requiring us to chase the new shiny. What game has OP been playing if they seriously thought one would happen without the other?

And for your information, the game exists outside of GAC. The team performs spectacularly in Conquest, TB, and TW, and are some of my most reliable teams in all three because I’ve put the resources and modding in for them.

Nevertheless, my original point stands - I can play the game how I’d like and collect who I want because I enjoy it, and still put time aside for meta teams and progressing my account in meta-related and meaningful ways.

You're not obliged to respond to dissent at all, but if you make a thread on a message board, you can't expect everyone to always agree with you. 

When your comments start being useful and offering good advice and ideas, they'll make sense. Right now, I see them as an attempt to prove I'm just whining and complaining about everything. I rarely write posts about anything, but they're always important and about pressing issues. These things accumulate over time and don't change. And then people like you appear, saying that this problem isn't worth addressing, downplaying its significance. How should I respond to that?

I've been playing for five years now. I'm stuck between 1-2 Kybers and struggling with more than one account. And I'll be honest. Even Dark Gideon's Remnants have lost their relevance here. Sometimes only a specialized Datacron can revive them. But overall, they're outdated. And this new Tank won't bring any changes.
