It’s been over six months of being matched against accounts with 4M more GP than me. And not just one account—entire brackets where the lowest is 10M (maybe one player), and everyone else is at least 12M. From Kyber to Aurodium. It’s unreal that there’s no one else besides me with an 8.5M GP account in Kyber. I’ve had enough of this. You’re not getting another cent from me, nor from many other players I know. Please fix GAC matchmaking. This operation happens once a week—it’s not like you have to do it a million times a day. Your servers are trash, but you can at least run this operation once a week (OR even once a month before new season) with two sorts: by skill rating and by GP.PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME!!!!!!!

I more often than not have the lowest GP in my bracket, so feel I have experience with these situations. I have empathy for those playing in the lower leagues and coming across larger accounts. I think something needs to be done, when a player's account is significantly larger than the divisions averageHowever, I have zero sympathy for a player that's moved up the leagues and then complaining about playing accounts bigger than theirs; this is how it should work. The fact the nuance of your complaint is it's been happening over an extended period (+6 months), also suggests your holding your own.....just you don't like it or think it's unfair.Also remember that in GAC, there's no way of using your full GP, so it's a measurement as a fairness tool. The system we have works very well 'if' all players are putting in the same amount of effort. Sadly, it does fail when players only play now and again or have periods of not playing.I think what we have not is infinitely better than the old system. Where we deliberately min-maxed our roster as to not bloat the GP. This is an awful situation for a collectible game. And where players like you (and maybe I) would got 11-1/12-0 (used to be for rounds to a GAC) each month. There is the same problem in Chromium II and III as well. Be glad you were in Kyber when the squish happened . Others were not so fortunate.

Don't expect it to change. They haven't done anything with GAC for at least 3 years now. No matter what, one player wins and one player loses. They pay out the same rewards either way in GAC and TW. Their priority is selling us "new shiny" stuff. GAC and TW are old. Same as many bugs, old and not a priority if they only impact players negatively. The accountants are in charge at CG.

I think you'd have done well to read the whole thread carefully, before commenting on something half way down it. Your situation is entirely different to the OPs. The OP is doing well and facing players par for the division/league. Your situation is that larger accounts that don't play or play irregularly have fallen down to your level.
I think most people believe that something should be done about this. (As I wrote in the post that prompted the analogies).

I'm in Kyber 2, and at times I'm totally outgunned. I see the same thing in Kyber 1 too. You can punch up wherever you are on the tree (apart from starting at the very top of course). Probably, in high Kyber there a lot less unwinnable games though.
You also have to remember, how much GP can a 11 million GP account actually use in Aurodium? I'm 11 million in Kyber and more and more I have good teams left over. I have no idea how much of my GP I do use on average, but my guess is it isn't over 8 million.
I played the old system, but I much prefer it now. I don't want to be watching my GP all the time because of GAC. This was a horrible situation. Also, I think it's fairer now where everybody wins 40-60% of their games. If you or the OP were not, you'd drop back down again, so clearly you are having success.....just having to work for it.....or more accurately, find ways to win.
I think though, it'd be a slog whatever the system. If the rewards are there, the dedicated will work to get them. This way, it's shared out a little bit more evenly as the wins are shared out.

Yeah, I’m in Carbonite 3 at 3mm, and two of the last three opponents have been around 8mm. Both had multiple GLs.
