I've been playing for a year and just discovered this allies thing

So the topic says it all. I've been playing this game for a year and just today discovered "Allies" when someone sent me an invite. So how exactly did someone invite me and how do I start inviting others?

What are the benefits of having allies? I take it I can use their help in battle but how do I go about doing that ? How does it differ from the "borrow a hero" feature?
Thx

Yeah that's what the instructions say but there's no pen icon for me.

Not all is lost. Are you Android or iOS? Do you have another device available that's never had this game installed on? You could play the tutorial on a new device, then set your age (over 13). Then log into Google Play (there's an app for that) or Game Center in iOS. Make sure you're not logged into either before installing the game. This will bring your account back, and MIGHT give you the new age options (chat and name change option).

iOS. I have plenty of devices but they are synced so I'm guessing they all have it downloaded already. Will check and see.

The first time you set up the Account, there was an Age verification question. If you had set it up wrongly, you would be pegged as under aged. That would explain why your name is forever stuck as Mol Eliza, you can't see guild chat and so on. Since you still can't change your name, I suspect that they just relaxed the rules regarding minors adding allies recently, hence why you can suddenly add allies.

Guild chat are you serious? That's one of the things I was hoping they'd add! They've had it the whole time? But you're right this was originally my son's game when I first Downloaded it. So I prob set it up under his age.

    Any way to change that?

Lol what? Of course I'm serious, they've had it the whole time. Heck, I bet your guild mates have been trying to communicate with you but you can't even see the messages lol. You definitely set it up under his age, hence all the age restrictions you are facing now.

I only know of one method to change this but it requires rather...drastic measures.

Made this thread obvious a troll

lol this whole thing is toasted oven baked troll rolls
  • Not to rub it in, but it just blows my mind how many do not actually read when they're setting up they're various accounts. On the flipside, EA/CG could do a better job of alerting why one needs to set the age box properly (ie for age and chat etc).

what does the age box have to do with ally invites?

This post tuned into age and chat, with even you discussing such. And as I said earlier, most generally never give any love to players with the name Mol Eliza. So why ask why?

forgive me but i find nothing that talks about age being the issue. i think you are in the wrong discussion for your comment.

this is the discussion about a player who's been at it a year and just now discovered he can have allies.

You're obviously either trolling or you haven't read the last couple of handful of posts, including by the OP himself. Let me give you a clue where name and age came into this thread:

i'm not trolling and i just skimmed the most recent posts and i seriously don't see anything about age.

i'm not trying to be rude or start an arguement. i seriously don't see where age comes into play and i want to understand.

have you had your morning coffee yet?

    Not yet. ;)

Read the entire thread from start to finish. Are you also a Mol Eliza?

So here's what I think happened. When I first downloaded this game it was for my son. He's 9. I probably put in his age so it had some restrictions built into the game. Then I got into the game and kind of took over for him. They probably relaxed some restrictions on the age stuff and opened up some options for me. I wonder what else I'm missing out on.

Quick question, how long should it take me to level up a character from 1-75? For instance I just got Grievous yesterday, how long on average should it take me to get him to a 75? Because I'd say its going to take me at least a week if I use all my training droids on him alone and ignore every other character in my roster. Just curious if thats normal.

not yet i'm not.....i change my name every so often.

damn I want to change my name, is there any way to contact the game makers and see if they can convert my game over to adult status?

Also, can someone answer this...under the guilds button I have a greyed out button that looks like a suitcase. Any idea what that is and when it gets activated?
