He is the only character that keeps droids viable, so nope. Its also a buff for only 2 rounds, with a long cooldown and can be dispelled.

Fives is really the only threat anyone runs in arena that JE's dets are good against. And that's if they don't get resisted. All the high damage toons and taunts are usually cleared before dets go off. He's also awful on 86's assist which seems to happen 50% of the time.

With all that said I got whooped hard by a Clone team today with my Droid team. Couldn't even get through a single Toons protection.

Droid teams with JE are very beatable. No dodge lead makes victory less dependent on RNG. OP maybe you need to work on your team if you're having problems.

JE works fine. He's not too powerful as there are teams I struggle to beat.

As someone said above JE does no or nearly no damage in an arena match. If you take away his speed boost for droids he would be completely useless. He's a character who is complete utility. Paired with B2 and you have 2 of 5 toons that do negligible damage. If you can't beat them you need to work on your team. Neither needs any work done.

B2 does no damage? Well that's good because he attacks 400 times each round. Seems to do a bit of damage then. And mass dispel and buff immunity on Han etc. You're right an awful toon, nobody should go for him. Nobody.

I didn't say anything about him being awful or useless or anything of the sort. I have him and absolutely love him for his dispels and debuffs. However, he does little damage with his attacks. In a 1 on 1 situation he almost always loses. The point I was making is that a team running both of them really only have 3 damage dealers and HK doesn't do high damage either.

As for counters, Clones are their #1 worst enemy. After that dodge leaders. And there must be others cause my team slips over night every night

First, no one said you had to toss anyone out. His is one team, and they're hardly prevalent on the ladders. I'm on a late nov shard and I'm the only one running this comp in the whole top 100. You can simply avoid them for now if you're having that much trouble.

But it might be helpful to know who you are running.
