You did not unlock the full character.

5* is useless for most raids and events. You think 5* is going to cut it for jedi luke unlock?

How many legendarys before this have REQUIRED full 5x G12 squads?.... (Zero.)

Game Changer Ahnald 101 did it with only Boba GS12 and netted a 7* Chewie.

And before you go medieval on people, the poster did say he unlocked Chewie. That implies 5* which is the unlock. I got 6* Chewie on my second go with GS12 Boba lead. I am working on 7* now. I keep getting Chewie and Han down but ROLO always lands her ability block on Boba which I then can’t execute which is failure.

How many more to get 7*? When you say its "doable" with less then the absolute ceiling i believe you but we differ on what acceptable as far as how many times lower tier people are expected to repeat the event to scrape in a 5 or 6* chewie which we both know will not be suffcient to unlock a 330 shard jedi luke.

And as i posted elsewhere a g12 requirement for legendarys is no good. You use entirely different factions to unlock legendary characters.

If you dont want to collect an entire faction at G12 just to unlock a legendary character from the faction you DID want..well your screwed.

I keep thinking back to thrawn or CLS and if i had been forced to level OT rebels or pheonix this much well.. i never would have gotten those 2. I dont like or use either faction past unlocking the final lightside worlds and the events etc they are required for.....There is no way in hell i would gear either team to g10 let alone 11-12 i went without CLS for a long time because i just didnt want to spend credits and gear on toons i had skipped at the start lke farmboy and leia who were needed for the event but absolutely useless to me afterwards

Most people playing this game dont have 50 retries of an event in them.. most people think because they get absolutely **** in the first couple goes that it is beyond their progression level and go back to the drawing board

Im at 74/85 bossk shards and farming my last 11 before i even bother trying 6* again.

Should i have started panic farming bossk right from day1? Yes but i have been doing his hard node every day since it came out and refreshed A BIT but not a full on..

I think the communitys main problem was the teaser and how it announced WHO was used to unlock chewie.. people were told any 5 BH and took that in good faith. What we have been delivered is anything but.

I farmed bossk like normal from when he came out and focus farmed him during the bonus drops and in the few days before them. Basically from when they announced the legendary. And that was plenty to get im to 7 star. So, no yoy didn't need to panic farm him from day one.

And to be honest, if you didn't think tbat bossk or one of the other new bhs would make the event easier, I don't know what to tell you. Based on the business model of the game and reading his kit, it was obvious that he would be an asset. I'm sorry yoy chose not to get him to 7 stars but that isn't anyone's fault but yours.

And it is entirely up to you how many retries you are willing to do. There are typically two ways to unlock a character. Either you farm and over gear a squad so it is easy or you do retries. Which one you choose is up to you. Depends how badly you want 7 star chewie I guess.
