As someone that has a ton of credits. I can confirm this is accurate.

My mods are awful.

Technically the CG's said the level.cap would not be raised to 90 a few years ago.

But they said alot of things that was not true about not being raised higher like relics not going higher than 7 ect but hey were at 9 now I am just waiting for R20.

I’m not sure what this means. I have 946m credits, 163m ship credits and ok mods (I discard anything less than 9 speed). Easy to accumulate credits when there’s nothing to buy.

Level 90 might be a good way to use those credits.

As was pointed out elsewhere, if CG where to add level 90 (which they aren't)

There is no way they'd let us use our current currency. They'd lock it behind credits mk2

As a player with too many credits myself I know we should spend them on mods but after awhile that gets so boring and then the credits start piling up. And with the introduction of datacons speed is getting less relevant. Which makes mod grinding even less fun. Maybe if you could automate buying all speed mods and get them to lvl 15 and sell the ones under +XX speed, QoL suggestion?

i think it is just a weird interface combination of lv 85 + 5 relic levels. as much as i think adding a level cap could be interesting, it could require a lot of balance on the dev side plus the change to the portraits to remove the level indicates that 85 is always going to be max.

and a side note, can people stop down-talking other people's mods every time someone mentions having millions of credits. not everyone cares about farming mods every day and maximizing them, and some didnt have the time to go to those depths before the mod update (which does help speed those along a lot). if mods was the main topic fine, but it isn't, level 90 is.

I wouldn't think so. Gear levels are not relic levels are not character levels - I think what's really interesting about that screenshot is the "Coming Soon" part. Has anyone seen this or reported it before?
