Longtime players with stockpiles of zetas
As a player for going on maybe close to 2 years or so I am always in awe when I read posts about gamers who claim to have stockpiles of Zetas they dont know what to do with. I'm not a huge fan of flee...

Zeta mats do accrue slowly, but it's even slower if you equip one as soon as you have it available. If you get 20 mats and have the omegas and purples ready and you find yourself saying "okay, who do I spend this on?" and you scroll through your roster for 20 minutes trying to decide which zeta you even want, then you should save it. There's an obvious difference between "I can't decide between these two characters' zetas!" and "who do I even want to put one on right now?" and when you find yourself in the latter camp, start saving.
So only place zetas when you have the team ready to be useful now (I won't zeta Carth even though he's g10 and very viable for ga because the rest of my OR team is only g6-8) and when that zeta is the linchpin making that team viable (I'll never do Vader's lead b/c he's always under EP for me), or even for those top-tier zetas don't do it unless you know you'll use it right away (I still haven't zeta'd Bastila's lead because I use her with Revan and don't have the toons for a secondary jedi squad). Those are my rules, and I usually have 40-60 mats at any given time. Funny enough, the only thing keeping me from getting the 3rd zeta on JKR is omegas and purples, not zetas. What I want to know is how so many people have thousands of purple mats! I'm always running out of those despite being pretty conservative in how I spend them.
