Longtime players with stockpiles of zetas
As a player for going on maybe close to 2 years or so I am always in awe when I read posts about gamers who claim to have stockpiles of Zetas they dont know what to do with. I'm not a huge fan of flee...

I do not stock pile anything, especially zetas. The reason is that a zeta (properly allocated) does give an immediate boost to you AND your guild. It can give the last small nudge to get an extra star in TB (a Zeta is worth over 2K GP) or a victory in TW/GA. I plan in advance how many zetas I'll get each month (40 to 50 every month) based on TW,GA,Login Reward, Fleet Shop (the only thing I buy there) and Fleet Challenge (not expecting much from it). This allows me to also plan for my omegas (about 60 per month) and stop using them on time to have enough when a Zeta comes.
I recommend using Zetas on Leaders first and not on low gear toons except for unlocking a Legendary/Hero toon (like I did on Bossk to score Chewy). Some Unic zetas are also very good, turning a toon into a leader almost (like Veers who's Unic with zeta is better and his Leader ability).
Personally I am a perfectionist so I like my whole squad to be "complete" so I've used some useless zetas before... (Tarkin Unic on top of his Leader, Dengar's Unic while I already had Bossk's Leader, etc). However I would not recommending it for people looking for efficiency...
