After hearing about the special mission, used my Padme squad in lower combat mission. Padme R6, Anakin R7, GK R6, Ahsoka R5, Bariss G11. (I use Yoda with it in Arena, but used him with my Revan squad here, so Bariss is next for this squad). This Padme squad was able to clear 2/4 for the +500k points. My Revan squad Revan R5, Yoda R6, Jolee G12, HY G12, Bastila G12 was only able to do 1/4 of the Jedi mission, but I think that was +500k points.
GK absorbed a ton of damage in Phase 1. They probably saved me in that phase.
At the time I was disappointed at how well my squads did, but after hearing about squads that did even worse, I am happy they did decently.
