Not just company, but imagine being a designer and being asked, "Hey do you wanna create a new Star Wars Character?"
I don't know too many people in this forum, who as proclaimed Star Wars fans, wouldn't jump at that opportunity.
I'm sure some folks here, myself included, have made up our own SW characters, either in our head or on paper.
Personally, I think it's pretty cool.
Very few people can proclaim they've made a Star Wars character.
Absolutely it is a cool assignment to be given and were I in your shoes, or whomever developed this character's shoes, I would have been stoked to do it as well.
However, I'm not in said shoes. When you guys release video game toons that I've never heard of, I don't care because I see so many people get excited for them and pumped about them. It is awesome to see my internet friends get so much joy from things like that. When Revan came, it was unbelievable, and I had no clue who Revan was. Mara Jade was the opposite for me; I was super pumped to see her come to the game (actually got me to keep playing versus quit altogether) and saw others saying "who?". But they were excited because others were excited.
When I read the kit for this new droid I was very intrigued. Looks like a great toon, but I'm not sure exactly where it will fit in yet obviously. It is a cool design and a cool kit. Kudos to the team, seriously.
I'm just saying, when toons like Hondo, Saw, Darth Bane, even Jar-Jar and Sebulba... when these toons aren't in the game yet and you are making new toons out of thin air it just doesn't seem to get me excited for this toon. Thank you for your response though, appreciate that.
Oh, one other thing... those Malgus packs... can we get an explanation on when/what those actually are so we can plan accordingly? The cat is out of the bag. Can you do us a solid?
