If they don’t have a game plan on what’s ahead, that’s concerning. If they simply don’t have the effort or time to tell us what’s in store for us, that’s concerning. There’s no reason the road ahead shouldn’t be out by the end of the week.

A game plan and what is announced are 2 different things.

as I posted in response to a different post, these updates revolve around the current state of things, not just what was planned but what is on track to be ready. parts of the process vary especially as they approach the final steps. There are many reasons things may not be in a place they want to announce them as "ready".

Oh I totally get things come up where they need to change things around a bit.

However in this case I’m just more skeptical and confused as to how they can be so chaotic right now. Since December the GL’s were the primary focus of things and were released slowly. Outside of the challenge tiers and mando characters there was nothing else really.

If the GL’s really weren’t ready and caused them to be released over 4 months...that’s bad planning and mismanagement.

If the GL’s were ready and they had 4 months to plan and plot a course for the rest of the year but remained stagnant, that’s bad planning and mismanagement.

Plus didn’t TopHat or Carrie mention how they had a 5 year blueprint in place back in early 2019 or late 2018?

Idk it just seems a bit odd that they had all this stuff planned and were working on and now nothing. Things change obviously but this just seems a bit...much.

Broad strokes and fine detail are 2 very different things. We have also had the recent situation of the pandemic which throws a lot of little things into a different situation and this change in dynamic has effects on everything going on. You dont think all the transitions around this could be adding to a little "chaos" ?

a long term plan doesn't mean that they can predict each months outcomes very far in advance. We know they are working on a large project, which like others before it can always make for changes to the timeline.

again who said, "now nothing", they are still working on things, but if they are not in a solid place they dont want to commit to them in something like that in the RA/SoTG. again, its not about nothing going on, its about what they can confidently commit to. maybe trying to avoid another "August".

You can't blame the pandemic on this. Don't even try throwing that into the mix. They are working from home. Blame it on working from home, I think everyone at this point that is working from home is getting a little spacey, but blaming it on the pandemic makes it sounds like they all came down from COVID. They like probably everyone else are going through the sit at home funk.
