Totally nailed it in this post. They set everyone up with super hype for GG rework so everyone blindly spent their precious resorces just in time to release the next meta so everyone who spent their resources and want to be viable with the next meta in arena will have to spend mounds of cash. Sinister giggles can be heard from the meeting rooms if you listen closely
