Modified Round Rewards?

Why modify the rewards if they are just delaying the event? That's a bit confusing, and I can understand how many (myself included) read it to mean we would be receiving the modified round rewards outside of the actual event to make up for the delay.

How are you going to get modified round rewards before you played a round? The join period hasn't even finished for the restarted GA.....we'll find out when we finish the 1st round.

Did they ever double the rewards of TB for lessening the amount of TBs we are now getting each month?

I know they doubled the shards for ROLO and Probe Droid, but I can't remember if they ever doubled the GET. They should double it if that's the basis for reduced GA rewards

We are still getting a TB every two weeks. Why do you think those are being reduced?

They tinkered with the TB rewards a lot when things first came out. Originally they were going to have each phase last 12 hours, so our current cadence is 1/2 what they originally thought it would be during early development. I'm sure that was taken into account at that point.

The doubling of ROLO shards was because instead of every TB granting ROLO shards, only 1/2 the TBs going forward would grant ROLO shards once Dark Side TB was introduced. They didn't want to slow down ROLO acquisition, so they doubled just those shards. But the GE Tokens were still being acquired at the same rate since both Light Side and Dark Side TBs dropped approximately as many GET per star (I can't remember the exact rewards right now) and DS actually provided the opportunity for more stars, so you wouldn't be losing any GET with the introduction of DS.

I think that all made sense and don't see any reason for them to go back and revisit the decisions now.

The way that reads, we will get modified round rewards, meaning at the end of each round we will get those rewards.

this makes much more sense than just giving us "modified" which I took to be less, ROUND (as opposed to completion and/or winning rewards, which sucks, but ehh) rewards, which are meh in general, but if they add them to rewards for this GA it also helps get people to play. wp, cg
