Totally agree!! Why a toad man that was insignificant at best and also a made up character by the fan base to be funny meme.  Not laughing.

Jokes aside, I agree. I’m alright with all these characters (I’ll probably warm to Darth Jar Jar over time), for the most part I think they’re cool picks for this Era. I imagine next Era we’ll get more familiar characters - Rogue One’s 10th anniversary gives the opportunity for Bail Organa, Melshi, Galen Erso, Saw’s Partisans, maybe others that I’m not thinking about yet.

I’m also getting the sense that all the set-up for future ships lately is leading to something next year: Ithano, Quiggold, and Kix have the Meson Martinet; SM-33 has the Onyx Cinder; Silvo and Brutus have that big ship in the Pirate Era art; Vane has his Snub Fighter; Zuckuss and 4-LOM have the Mist Hunter; Ventress has several ships; Kleya and Luthen have the Fondor Haulcraft; Cassian is in his pilot get-up from when he stole the Prototype TIE Avenger; all the New Republic Marquees have their own ships; now we’re getting Jaxxon who pilots the Rabbit’s Foot; and Darth Jar Jar (and Rey Dark Side Vision in the LEGO show) has the Dark Falcon in the Era art splash screen. With all that and that one post where they talked about Starfighter, I feel like 2027 will be a big year for ships. (Related, I have a theory that Red Five and the Tantive IV are coming for the 50th anniversary, which is conveniently right before Starfighter releases in theatres)

This and Migs Mayfeld are basically the entirety of my wishlist.

Pretty excited for them. My kids were all "its darth jarjar, you love him" and indeed, they were right.

its just a game, the universe isn't that big, and we've rebuilt the galaxy in lego.

They could always add an option to hide the characters you don't wish to see displayed in your collection and/or on the holo-tables, just like how you can mark your favorites.

Horrible era coming up. DSVY and MJS are the only things remarkable about it. Darth Jar Jar makes me want to go outside and punch a tree. 

Are we getting the Lego Dark Falcon?  Is Darth Jar Jar a pilot? 

I definitely have a "get off my lawn" knee-**bleep** reaction to these toons, but the game is not the movies. I've played with tons of characters I had never heard of before they came to SWGOH. Not having played KOTOR, the various Reva's and Malak and Bastila and all the other Old Republic stuff was completely new. I would have preferred more familiar characters, but other people like them, and so I got used to them. 

I suspect that despite my initial negative reaction so long as the kits are fine, I'll end up liking these toons a perfectly average amount. 

No, they aren't characters I'll ever love. That requires a bigger emotional attachment than a game like SWGOH can ever create. You need narrative and humanity for that. But between a character CG makes up from scratch and a character I've never heard of from some minor property or another, there's really little difference to me. 

I just want the Ginnivex Fanblade to be released sometime soon.
