Friction. Aerodynamics Because orbital dynamics are governed by ... friction? And aerodynamics in a vacuum? None of this matters anyway because Star Wars physics are magic to us. Spacecraft can't fly the way we see them in these films. At least, not until we invent inertial dampeners, hyperdrives, and energy shields.
And hydrospanners to adjust the alluvial dampers.
Edit: and by the way, crashing the Star Destroyers together was awesome.
Dont even try to justify the physics in Star Wars. That way leads to madness
How about bashing parsecs?"Nauros;840431" wrote:

While we're bashing Star Wars physics, can anybody explain to meSpoilerThe device that opens a hole to allow communication must be destroyed ... to allow communication? Huh?
Magic!
That device was also keeping the whole shield up.
No way. Not feasible. It makes no tactical sense to put the shield generator outside the shield. Even the Rebels on Hoth knew that. The shield generator was on the ground, projecting the shield overhead.****er, I mean, gee whiz, even the Gunguns knew enough to put the generator inside the shield.- I was obviously referring to a LACK of aerodynamics. Otherwise agreed, Physics Is Magic *cue MLP theme*
- i heard its going to be a Raid not a Cap Ship

Except that shield didn't cover the entire planet- Omg nute gunray is new commander

That shouldn't matter, because shield generators make a spherical shape so it should go around the entire planet, negating the need for a weird space station thing for the shield generator- Wait... this thread was originally about nute gunrays capital ship right? Why are we arguing about the shield generator in rogue one??
- Now if you run this capital ship with ships that inflict debuffs reliably on their basic, well you would probbaly end up with his Ruthless Efficency being spammed every turn. OP much.
- So, the TIE Fighter twins, 3 Geos, and Boba - that should do it.
